We create a minimalist aesthetic with functional maximalism. We thinkoutside of the box to create something really extraordinary byplaying with shapes, repetition and asymmetry; a combination from which emerges a ring that looks like two, the unforgettable marriage between a round and a squaredearring andclasp-freechains balanced by perfect geometry.Versatility distinguishes our accessories that are the perfect complement to any look, whether it is day or night, a casual oraformal event. That is why, when she decided to venture into jewelry design, this creator didn’t hesitate to make them thecore of her proposal: “Everything exists from geometry:nature, humanity, constructions…”; she assures. Accordingto her, Carolina Alba Jewelry, is characterized by minimalismand functionality: “The added value is that many of the pieces are multifunctional: earrings that can be used in four ways, a ringthat lookslike two, clasp-freechokers that fit in differentways,”; explains the 32-year-old from Bogotá. That is why she considered her creations to be“the perfect complement”. It took hernearly four years to create that vision of herown, and after two years in the market, she has already launched three collections. Six sides, inspired by the cube, Area Collection, which highlights circular and squared architectural areas, and Structural, elements that,when repeated and joinedtogether, shapenew elements. Thanks to them,she has been part ofColombiamodaandthe BURÓShowcasesin Colombia. Hercreative process takes about three months and is materialized in laminated, light and elegant jewelry, made of 24 carat gold-plated bronze and silver. Shealso has an important environmental commitment: “Ourproductiondoesn ́t generate any waste, as it isrecycled,andthe packaging is biodegradable because: helping a little bit goes a long way,”, says Carolina. For 2019, the designer has set herself severalchallenges. On the one hand, she will present hernew collection, named City Collection, which will recreate the Urban Sky Lineand inaddition, Carolina wants to incorporate trending summer colors in her previous collections, inspired by the work of the artist Olga de Amaral, exploring Nariño’s craft techniques.
